As a designer, I strive for clarity: of purpose, of content, of delivery. I believe visuals are an invaluable tool to engage and inform, but are only as strong as the content they convey. I practice function over form, understanding that oftentimes it is form that makes function worthwhile. If the goal of design is thought-transference, then to design is to pursue more than just visuals: it is to chase meaning.
